「好香港 好香港」是一個旨在回顧並重新發掘及引發思考的香港創意展,在8月分別於香港大會堂低座展覽廳,及灣仔動漫基地舉行。

展覽主題定為「好香港 好香港」具有雙重涵意,第一個「好香港」展現及反映香港本地的獨特文化;第二個「好香港」則代表能夠影響香港生活思維與觀點的原創設計和創意作品。

展覽共集結11個創意界別超過150個入選個案,並會舉行一系列導賞團、分享會、工作坊、電影放映以及學生「好香港」作品展,屆時將帶領大家穿越時光,以貼近香港人生活記憶的展覽內容,回顧與展望香港創意世界的美好景象。

策展人
陳幼堅
集設計師、品牌顧問及藝術家於一身的陳幼堅,過去四十七年廣告及設計生涯中,帶領其1980年創立的陳幼堅設計公司榮獲本地及國際設計獎項超過六百多個。自 2000 年起,不斷在創作領域上作出新的嘗試,從商業設計走向藝術領域,除了2002及2006年上海雙年展和2010及2012年的香港當代藝術雙年展外,亦分別於2002年及2007年成為首名獲邀的香港設計師於東京ggg平面設計畫廊及上海美術館舉行設計與藝術個展。陳氏自2010年起發表以 iPhone 攝影的作品系列《iEye愛》,先後在香港、上海、米蘭、北京、大阪及新加坡展出。2017年在東京POLA Museum Annex發表最新攝影裝置藝術個展。其藝術及設計作品獲蘇黎世設計博物館、中國美術館、香港西九M+、香港藝術館及香港文化博物館等機構,以及香港、中國內地、日本、意大利及美國等地的私人藏家收藏。陳幼堅獨特的「東情西韻」設計風格鮮明,深受國際設計界推崇,為年輕一代設計師帶來深遠影響。

又一山人 (黃炳培)
黃氏畢業於香港工商師範學院設計應用系。曾擔任多間國際知名廣告公司的創作總監職位。 十五年之廣告創作生涯後,轉職為電視廣告導演。於2007年成立八萬四千溝通事務所。黃氏之藝術、設計、攝影及廣告作品屢獲香港及國際獎項達六百多項,包括美國One Show 兩金,英國 D&AD yellow pencil 及東京TDC大獎。其藝術及設計作品過百次於香港、海外展出,如2015東京ggg 平面設計畫廊舉行大型個展。作品並獲多間國際藝術館永久收藏,包括香港西九M+ 及倫敦V&A museum。曾獲2011香港藝術發展獎之年度最佳藝術家獎 (視覺藝術) 大獎及香港藝術館頒發之香港當代藝術獎2012。除設計及廣告創作外,又一山人對攝影及個人視覺創作十分熱衷及積極,尤其專注社會狀況之題材。過去十多年間,他以“紅白藍”一系列作品積極推動“正面香港”精神;並得到香港本地及國際關注。2005年代表香港參加威尼斯藝術雙年展。

To look back, re-discover and foster discussion of the best in Hong Kong design and creativity, 'VERY HONG KONG VERY HONG KONG' is a creative exhibition that reintroduces the many facets of Hong Kong creative culture. The inaugural exhibition will be opened to public for a total of 3 weeks in August at Hong Kong City Hall in Central, and Comix Home Base in Wan Chai respectively.

The theme 'VERY HONG KONG VERY HONG KONG' implies dual meanings. The first 'Very Hong Kong' pays tribute to local culture; the second 'Very Hong Kong' stands for creative excellence that influences our daily life.

The exhibition will showcase over 150 selected entries from 11 creative categories. The exhibition also accompanies with a series of guided tours, talks, workshops, film screenings, and a response exhibition by design students.

Curators
Alan Chan
Being a designer, brand consultant and artist, Chan and his company have won more than 600 local and international awards during his past 47 years in advertising and design. Since 2000, Chan ventured into the new arena of visual art. Besides being selected for Shanghai Biennale in 2002 and 2006 as well as for Hong Kong Contemporary Art Award in 2010 and 2012 respectively, he is also the first Hong Kong designer ever being invited to hold a solo exhibition at the Shanghai Art Museum and the graphic design gallery – ggg in Tokyo.

Chan developed his iPhone photography series “iEye-ai” in 2010, which has been exhibited in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Milan, Beijing, Osaka and Singapore. He has also showcased his latest photographic video installation at POLA Museum Annex in Tokyo in 2017. His works of art and design have been collected by institutions such as Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich, the National Art Museum in the Mainland, M+ museum for visual culture in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Museum of Art and Hong Kong Heritage Museum, as well as private collectors in Hong Kong, the Mainland, Japan, Italy and the USA.

The 'Oriental Passion Western Harmony' design philosophy initiated by Alan has been well-recognised by the international design scene and has brought immense influence to the younger generation of designers.

Stanley Wong
Stanley Wong is a renowned designer, a brand consultant and contemporary artist, since 1980.

Wong is the recipient of more than 600 local, Asian and international awards for his art, design, photography and advertising works, including 2 One Show gold awards form U.S., D&AD yellow pencil from UK and Tokyo TDC award. Many of his art works have been exhibited local and overseas galleries and museums for more than 100 shows included solo show in Tokyo ggg 2015, and are now part of their permanent collection, including Hong Kong M+ and London V&A Museum. In May 2012, Wong was also awarded the Artist of the Year 2011 (Visual Arts) from Hong Kong Arts Development Awards and the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Awards 2012 from Hong Kong Museum of Art.

Additionally, Stanley Wong is very passionate in photography and various creative mediums with a strong focus on social issues. For over the past decade, Wong has gained international awareness with his 'red, white and blue' collection, representing the 'positive spirit of Hong Kong' which he presented at the 51st Venice Biennale in 2005 representing Hong Kong. Besides, Stanley Wong is heavily involved with the education of design and art, and travels around the world as a guest lecturer in major local and overseas institutions.
